Leslie Steele Elected as Executive Vice Chair of the Industry Advisory Council

ARLINGTON, VA (June 12, 2007) – Leslie Steele was recently elected as Executive Vice Chair of the Industry Advisory Council (IAC). Over the last year, she has served on the Board of this association comprised of about 550 member companies, including most of the largest IT companies in the industry. IAC’s mission is to bring industry and government executives together to exchange information, support professional development, improve communications and understanding, solve issues and build partnership and trust, thereby enhancing government's ability to serve the nation's citizenry. Starting July 1, she will serve a one year term as Executive Vice Chair, followed automatically by a one year term as Chair. In the 18 year history of IAC, Leslie will be the 2nd woman and the first small business owner or representative to hold the Chair position.
