InterImage CEO Leslie Steele is standing tall among the giants of the Washington
area's male-dominated technology industry. Despite a sagging economy, Steele's
Arlington-based software development company posted record revenue of $4.8 million
in 2001 after capitalizing on federal and defense sector demand.
And the winner is…
A who's who of Arlington's technology industry recently convened for
the first High Tech Awards with hopes of capturing the glass "Tech-E" presented
to winners by the Arlington Chamber of Commerce E-Council and Arlington Economic
Development Corp.The High Tech Award is bestowed on a company that has made
a positive impact on the Arlington community.

InterImage Named Arlington County's Technology
Company of the Year
The Arlington County e-Council named InterImage,
Inc. the 2002 Technology Company of the Year. The
award, named the Tech-E, is presented to an Arlington-based
company that exemplifies positive community impact
through its business. In presenting the award,
the e-Council said "Progressive, growth-oriented
and focused are some of the many attributes of
the Technology Company of the Year. The winner
of this award is a company which has made a positive
impact on the Arlington community through its hard
work and its persistent development of high-quality
services, products, and marketing and sales initiatives."
