InterImage Inc Receives 2010 Best of Business Award
InterImage Inc has been selected for the 2010 Best of Business Award in
the Computer software development category by the Small Business Commerce
Association (SBCA).
The Small Business Commerce Association (SBCA) is pleased to announce
that InterImage Inc has been selected for the 2010 Best of Business Award in
the Computer software development category.
The SBCA 2010 Award Program recognizes the top 5% of small businesses
throughout the country. Using statistical research and consumer feedback,
the SBCA identifies companies that we believe have demonstrated what makes
small businesses a vital part of the American economy. The selection
committee chooses the award winners from nominees based off statistical
research and also information taken from monthly surveys administered by the
SBCA, a review of consumer rankings, and other consumer reports. Award
winners are a valuable asset to their community and exemplify what makes
small businesses great.
InterImage Named Technology Company of the Year
InterImage was selected Technology Company of the Year by Arlington
County e-Council. This award is designed to recognize Arlington’s thriving
technology community of more than 300 companies, both large and small. In
presenting the award, the e-Council said:
Progressive, growth-oriented and focused are some of the many attributes
of the Technology Company of the Year. The winner of this award is a company
which has made a positive impact on the Arlington community through its hard
work and its persistent development of high-quality services, products, and
marketing and sales initiatives.
Top 25 Excellence.gov Award Finalist
The “Top 25” awards, issued by the Federal CIO Council,
recognize government programs that have demonstrated excellence in
e-government innovation. InterImage is proud to have designed and developed
Consumer Sentinel for the FTC, demonstrating that InterImage
has the vision and capability to design and develop Federal Government
applications that provide significant benefits to their intended audience.
Department of Navy eGov Award
The Naval Facilities Engineering Command and InterImage received a
Department of Navy eGov Award in 2004. The award recognized the Applications
Rationalization and Management team reducing its portfolio of applications
from over 33,000 to 796 to greatly ease NMCI transition.
Establishing standards and applying those standards in a rigorous decision
process became a prototype for Navy-wide rationalization. Seven projects
received the DON award.
Best of the Web
InterImage managed the effort to make the
www.DC.gov portal the best of the state and municipal sites on the Web.
Washington DC captured first-place in the 2003 Best of the Web
in the city government portal category named by the Center for Digital
Government. More than 260 public-sector websites entered the contest. A
panel of
IT experts judged each entry based on its innovation, web-based
delivery of public services, efficiency, economy and functionality for
improved citizen access.
InterImage Named To Washington TECHWAY’s Fast 50
Washington TECHWAY Magazine named InterImage one of the greater Capital
region’s top 50 fastest growing technology companies. Earned for growth over
the past 5 years, InterImage was listed as the third fastest growing
woman-owned business.
Top 10 Power Player
CEO Leslie Steele was recognized by Federal Computer Week
among their list of top 10 power players in 2007.
Agency Recognition
InterImage’s team received Agency Certificates of Appreciation from
ATF in 2008; and in 2010 the team received Certificates of
Appreciation from a core business system owner for our ability to add
complex and mandatory enhancements to a major legacy system.
In 2008, InterImage’s COTR received the Naval Criminal
Investigative Service, Civilian Employee of the Year for the success of
NCIS’ first Department of Navy enterprise application development
project.
