Seaport : Quality Assurance Program
At InterImage, quality is of paramount importance; our reputation depends upon the quality we deliver on each and every project. Our PMX includes the use of program-level quality assurance (QA), project level quality control (QC), and fully engaged management techniques during all project phases. To verify that deliverables meet our quality and professional standards, we follow defined and proven QA/QC procedures. Project controls are put in place during the planning stages of the project to ensure that status is trackable, that risks are minimized, and that changes are managed and documented. We hold periodic assessments of quality on in-process tasks and conduct peer reviews before milestone events. We review the quality of deliverables prepared internally or independently by our subcontractors. In the case of software, these evaluations take the form of design reviews, peer reviews of code, and independent testing.
While there are times when quality enforcement takes the form of a review, quality is also how the job is approached. InterImage embeds quality assurance into our project management methodology. The key is to involve everyone in quality from the outset – not waiting for acceptance at the end of a project. Our goal with each deliverable is to exceed our customer’s expectations; therefore, we conduct reviews, internally and with our customers, of key project deliverables. To guarantee ongoing delivery of quality services, InterImage also conducts regular feedback sessions with our customers throughout a project. We use meetings with the project’s executive sponsor, project manager, and core team to assess their satisfaction with deliverables and solicit feedback on the content and quality of the deliverables.
